BBNBA: Jamal Murray's game-winner propels Nuggets to series victory over Lakers
Playoff Jamal Murray struck again Monday night, folks.
Exactly a week after he hit a game-winning buzzer-beater to down the Lakers in Game 2 of the first-round series, Murray hit a running floater with four seconds left in Game 5 to cement Denver’s second consecutive postseason series victory over Los Angeles.
“The Blue Arrow” finished with a team-high 32 points, notching his 17th career playoff game with 30 or more points. His 17 games doing so are third most in team history, just behind Alex English’s 18 and Nikola Jokic’s 28 and counting.
Murray is the first player in NBA history to make a go-ahead shot in the final 5 seconds of multiple games within a single playoff series.
As well as the game-winner, Murray dunked on LeBron James with just over four minutes remaining in the game. Take a bow, Jamal.
Anthony Davis suffered an apparent shoulder injury with 11 minutes remaining in the third quarter but still played 40 minutes. Davis scored 17 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, marking his 44th career playoff double-double.
However, Davis’ 12th NBA season comes to a close at the hands of a fellow Cat.
Shai, Thunder close out series sweep of Pelicans
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander‘s 24 points led the Thunder to a 97-89 victory over the Pelicans on Monday night, finishing off the 4-0 sweep.
SGA appeared to have rolled his ankle near the end of the first quarter, but he returned to the game shortly after.

Bam, Herro play well, but no match for Celtics
The Jimmy Butler-less Miami Heat continue to struggle, as they were dominated 102-88 by the Boston Celtics Monday night.
Boston is now just one game away from sending Miami packing to Cancun for the offseason.
Bam Adebayo had 25 points and 17 rebounds, notching his 31st career playoff double-double. Tyler Herro also poured in 19 points but made just two of his six three-point attempts.
They however were no match for Boston’s Derrick White, who scored a career-high 38 points.
