BBNBA: Karl-Anthony Towns' double-double helps secure Minnesota win
It’s understandable, but I don’t think many people were paying much attention to the NBA yesterday. With the greatest spectacle in American sports taking place on Super Bowl Sunday, only two games took place in the NBA in the early afternoon. But at least we still got to see Karl-Anthony Towns and Jarred Vanderbilt play basketball.
Karl-Anthony Towns helps bring Timberwolves back against Indiana
Minnesota used an overall team effort in order to outlast the Pacers while on the road. Seven different players scored in double figures during the 129-120 win. Anthony Edwards led the way with 37 points on 25 shots with an absurd 7/13 mark from behind the arc. D’Angelo Russell poured in 23 and Karl-Anthony Towns put up 15 points and 13 rebounds in a double-double effort himself.
With that though, KAT might even consider this a bad game for him. he shot 5/12 from the field and gave up six turnovers in only 22 minutes. Jarred Vanderbilt added four points and seven rebounds in 23 minutes while continuing to supplant himself in the starting lineup.
