BBNBA: Karl-Anthony Towns, Jamal Murray set to duel in Game 7
In the lone NBA Playoff game on Thursday, Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets were looking for their fourth consecutive win over Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves to close out the Western Confernce Semifinals in Game 6.
Unfortunately for the Nuggets, they would come out as flat as a team can be. After scoring just 14 points in the first quarter, the defending NBA Champions just couldn’t catch back up. It got even worse as the Nuggets managed to score just nine points in the entire fourth quarter. It was an off night for the defending champs, to say the least. That applied to Murray as well.
The former SEC All-Freshman scored just 10 points on the night, shooting 4-18 (2-7 3PT) from the field. Murray did post a team-high five assists on the night. However, his +/- was the lowest on the Nuggets at -32.

Karl-Anthony Towns didn’t have the greatest performance either, but it was more than enough for the T-Wolves to get the job done. The former consensus All-American put up 10 points as well, but he also grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out five assists.
Regardless, Murray and Towns will meet again on Sunday in the Mile High City for Game 7. The time and channel for the game are still TBD.
