BBNBA: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scores 22 points to lead Thunder to win over Mavericks
The Tuesday night slate of games was thin, but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made sure that the game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Dallas Mavericks was a good one. Gilgeous-Alexander recorded 22 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three steals in the Thunder’s 118-104 win over the Mavericks.
Per usual, the former Kentucky guard made some highlight plays along the way.
Gilgeous-Alexander has scored at least 20 points in every game this season except for one — 105-93 win over the San Antonio Spurs. Cason Wallace had 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes of action to add to the stat sheet. P.J. Washington was inactive for the Mavericks due to an illness.
With the win, the Thunder advance in the NBA Cup, and they’ll face the winner of tomorrow’s game between the Warriors and Rockets on December 14th in the Semifinals.
