BBNBA: Towns pours in 28, Anthony Davis injured in rout
Injuries plagued some of our former Wildcats again last night in the NBA, Anthony Davis just so happens to be the latest victim.
Anthony Davis injured in loss to Timberwolves
It’s so hard to get a real gauge on this Lakers team. They’re still 16-14 after the 110-92 loss in Minnesota so they’re not exactly a bad team. Saying that though, half of their team is eligible for social security by the end of their contracts and they don’t really strike fear into anyone right now.
Oh yeah, Anthony Davis is hurt now too.
For all of his shooting struggles this season, the Lakers objectively need Anthony Davis if they want to be serious in any way. It’ll be a blow to lose him. He was also the recipient of some ‘Cat on ‘Cat crime last night.
While there’s worry over there, we still got to see Karl-Anthony Towns and Jarred Vanderbilt have standout games. Towns finished with 28 points and 10 rebounds on 11-23 shooting. He also had time to embarrass a fellow ‘Cat.

Keldon Johnson leads Spurs over Utah
There were a few surprises yesterday in the NBA, one being the now 11-17 Spurs team squeaking out a 128-126 win over the Jazz. Keldon Johnson led all scorers on San Antonio with 24 points and eight rebounds on 10-13 shooting, 4-5 from deep.
After a small stint at the beginning of the year where he struggled shooting, Keldon is legitimately shooting at an elite level from deep. Johnson is now 46% from three on just over three attempts a game. It’ll be tough to replicate over the entirety of the season, but it’s impossible to ignore.
