Tyler Herro is having a career year for the Miami Heat this season.

Herro, who had averaged 18.1 PPG over his first five seasons in the NBA, is averaging 24.1 PPG this season. He scored 31 points (11-19 FG) and hit nine three-pointers in Miami’s blowout 134-93 win over the Los Angeles Lakers Wednesday night, bringing Miami’s record to 10-10.

Tyler hit seven straight threes in the third quarter, compiling 21 points in just five and a half minutes. Four of his six career games where he’s hit the most three-pointers have come this season.

Bam Adebayo poured in 14 points on 6-8 shooting in the win, while Anthony Davis had an absolutely brutal night for the Lakers. AD hit just three of his 14 shots for eight points, which are a season-low for the NBA 75 member.

Other BBNBA Notes:

  • Julius Randle scored 16 of his 20 points Monday night in the first quarter of Minnesota’s 108-80 blowout victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
  • The Philadelphia 76ers fell to a lowly 5-15 Wednesday night following a four-point loss to the Orlando Magic. It was a brutal night for Tyrese Maxey from the field, who missed all seven of his three-point shots. He finished with 16 points in the loss.
