Benny Snell Breaks Kentucky Football Career Rushing Record
In the final game of his UK career, Benny Snell has successfully completed his final goal.
With a rush for yards 12 yards through the middle of the Penn State defense and into the end zone, Snell crossed the 107-yard threshold to surpass Sonny Collins and become Kentucky’s all-time leading rusher. Collins’ record of 3,835 yards stood for 44 years.
Of course, Benny’s moment came in the most dramatic way possible.

In only three years, Snell has rewritten Kentucky’s record book. The Greatest of All Time’s work is not finished until he leaves Camping World Stadium with a Citrus Bowl victory.
