Benny Snell Jr. to host youth football camp in July
Benny Snell Jr. just finished his third season with the Pittsburgh Steelers and is set to enter a very important season as a fourth-year pro in 2022. However, the former All-SEC tailback to returning to Kentucky first to give back to the community.
On July 11, Snell will be hosting a youth football camp at Winchester (Ky.) George Rogers Clark High School.
For four hours, kids from ages 6-16 can come and learn from an NFL running back. Each camper will receive a camp team photo with Benny Snell Jr., a camp t-shirt, and take home items from event sponsors.

Last season in Pittsburgh, Snell rushed for a career-low 96 yards as rookie Najee Harris emerged as the top tailback option for head coach Mike Tomlin. The Steelers are entering a transition season following the retirement of Ben Roethlisberger, and Snell will be looking to find a spot in the rotation as things are changing for the AFC North franchise.
The upcoming training camp will be a big one for Benny Snell Jr. However, Kentucky’s all-time leading rusher is looking to help teach some football to young kids in the Bluegrass before the season arrives.
