In the Ashland, a Kentucky Oaks prep race, Sailor's Valentine won a half million dollars as a 22-1 long shot. That wasn't the biggest upset of the day.  In the Grade 2 Blue Grass Stakes, Irap won its first race with Julien Leparoux aboard.  The 33-1 long shot held off Derby contenders Practice Joke, McCracken and Tapwrit down the stretch by just less than a length. Trained by Doug O'Neill, last year's Kentucky Derby winner, Irap is the first ever maiden to win the Blue Grass.
