Bob Stoops retiring after 18 seasons at Oklahoma
Here’s some breaking news I don’t think any of us expected today: according to Berry Tramel of The Oklahoman, Bob Stoops is retiring. Mark’s older brother has been the head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners for 18 seasons.
According to Tramel’s source, the 56-year-old Stoops will inform his team of his decision today and offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley will take over as head coach. Riley, once a candidate for the UK offensive coordinator position, is only 33 years old.
Does this mean we can have Jeff Badet back?
