Bobcat captured inside Eastern Kentucky Dollar General

Imagine strolling down the aisle of your local store and coming face to face with a bobcat. That’s what happened to patrons at a Dollar General in Floyd County last night, where police were called in to help capture a small bobcat that found its way inside. According to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department, the animal was safely removed and released in the woods:

The story itself is entertaining, but the comments in the Facebook post are even better. In addition to jokes about the bobcat not wearing a mask, it needing some deodorant, and how it must have escaped from Betsy Layne High School (whose mascot is the Bobcats), there’s a woman claiming the animal belongs to her.
