Kentucky continues to receive love from Pro Football Focus.
After highlighting how Kentucky is set to return the two highest graded offensive tackles in the SEC, PFF is moving to the opposite side of the field to show some praise. The media outlet has ranked Jamar “Boogie” Watson as the third highest-graded returning edge rusher among all Power 5 schools.

1. Chris Rumph II, Duke
2. Jacub Panasiuk, MSU
3. Jamar Watson, Kentucky

Watson, a former three-star recruit, is coming off an impressive junior season as a Wildcat that saw him record 36 tackles and a team-high 11.5 tackles for loss while starting in 11 of Kentucky’s 13 games. His 6.5 total sacks were second-most on the team behind Calvin Taylor Jr. and Watson was named a third-team linebacker by PFF in 2019.
PFF has already recognized Darrian Kinnard, Landon Young, and Max Duffy as some of the nation’s best returning players. Watson joining them is another step in Kentucky football gaining the legitimacy they’ve been building for years now.
