Boozer twins, Cameron and Cayden, announce offers from Kentucky
The sons of two-time NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer have received scholarships from the Wildcats.
On Wednesday night, twin brothers Cameron and Cayden Boozer announced offers from Kentucky men’s basketball through their Instagram accounts. Both prospects are considered to be among the best in all of high school basketball, with Cameron ranked as the unanimous No. 1 player from the class of 2025. Cayden is ranked just a tier below as a four-star recruit and the No. 22 overall prospect from the ’25 class, per the On3 Industry Ranking.
While Duke has long been thought to be the leader for these two (head coach Jon Scheyer has been prioritizing them for a while) with their father attending the school from 1999-2002 before enjoying a successful NBA career, Kentucky head coach John Calipari is throwing his hat into the ring for the talented twins.
“Just cause my dad went (to Duke) doesn’t mean I’m a lock to go there,” Cameron Boozer said earlier this year. “I still have other schools that are looking at me, other schools that I’m looking at. Just keeping my interest open.”
Playing out of Christopher Columbus (FL) High School, the Boozer twins have been perceived as a package deal for the next level. Cameron is the more talented of the two at this stage, checking in at 6-foot-8, 210 pounds. He’s a brutish power forward with impressive ball-handling skills for a big man. Meanwhile, Cayden clocks in at around 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, serving as the floor general for his team at point guard.

It could be tough to pry them away from Duke, but UK reaching out with an offer is the first step in making that happen.
“They’ve always been good, they’re a very talented team, they play hard, they defend well,” Cameron Boozer said of Kentucky. “They’re just a great program in general, one of the top teams, Blue Bloods. It’s a great program.”
Calipari is beginning to dip into the ’25 class more as of late, now extending offers to the likes of five-star SF Koa Peat, five-star SG Meleek Thomas, five-star SG Darryn Peterson, four-star CG Jasper Johnson, and unranked PG Darius Acuff.
