Bourbon and Beyond isn’t the oldest music festival in Kentucky, but they are certainly making their case as the best of the best in the Commonwealth.

The four-day music festival held in the fall at the Fair and Expo Center in Louisville unveiled its 2025 lineup and it is a sight to behold. They’ve got something for everybody.

Fan of 90s music? Bourbon and Beyond has cultivated a live music mixtape with the Spin Doctors, Third Eye Blind, Goo Goo Dolls, and Blues Traveler. If your ears prefer classic rock, they have you covered too. Pat Benatar, Foreigner, and Ringo Starr will be taking the stage at Bourbon and Beyond.

Kentucky native Sturgill Simpson will headline the event as Johnny Blue Skies. Jack White, Noah Kahan, Phish, and The Lumineers also get top billing.

I hate to sit here and just name-drop when you can simply scroll down and see the entire lineup for the music festival, but I need to thank the fine folks at Bourbon and Beyond. It’s almost like they perfectly curated a live event just for Nick Roush. Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats have for my money the best live show in music. The Alabama Shakes dropped two incredible Grammy-winning albums, then went their separate ways. They’re reuniting and making a trip to Louisville. It’s going to be incredible.

Weekend passes start at $399 for general admission and single-day tickets are also available right now. The best news of all? It’s the same weekend Eastern Michigan comes to Kroger Field, so you don’t have to feel bad for skipping a Kentucky football game to have a good time at Bourbon and Beyond.

Bourbon and Beyond Lineup

I failed to mention all of the biggest names coming to Bourbon and Beyond. Take a closer look and prepare for a spectacular weekend of music from Sept. 11-14.

Let me leave you with one of my favorite go-to songs to play on the YouTubes. Lake Street Dive has their fair share of hits, but I’d be willing to bet that nobody plays covers as well as they do. Rich Girl is their most well-known cover, but the Beatles rooftop redo is the best of the best.
