WATCH: Brad White, Kentucky defense provide updates from fall camp
The doldrums of fall camps throughout the college football landscape are setting in but we can all see the light at the end of the tunnel. One week from Saturday, Florida State and Georgia Tech will begin the 2024 college football season in Ireland before most of the sport gets things rolling in the last weekend of August. There will be tailgating in the Kroger Field parking lots in just a couple of weeks.
Kentucky defensive coordinator Brad White knows that his unit is ready to play a game, but there is still some work to be done before Southern Miss rolls into town to begin another football season in the Bluegrass.
“I would say that I’m glad we still have a couple of weeks left,” White told reporters when asked about the defense’s progress. “But I think the energy, the intensity is there. The way they go about their business is there. We gotta clean up some of the small things and clean up some of the technical things.”
