Class of 2025 Four-Star Guard Brayden Burries Wants to Visit Kentucky After Recent Offer
Brayden Burries was the first player Kentucky basketball assistant coaches Cody Fueger and Jason Hart watched when the live period began on Friday evening. His performance there was clearly impressive.
The 6-foot-4, 185-pound combo guard from Eleanor Roosevelt (Riverside, CA) announced an offer from Kentucky on Monday night, one day after the end of the Nike EYBL Peach Jam. Now, he’s looking to visit.
“Kentucky has been reaching out [about a visit],” Burries said. ‘I’m with my dad and we’re going to figure it out.”
Hart has been the main point of contact for Kentucky, reaching out to Burries and his father. Hart was in contact a little bit during his time at G League Ignite but has been in more contact since the move to Kentucky.
What’s Next?
Brayden Burries is going to start taking official visits in August. He mentioned Kentucky, Alabama, Kansas, UCLA, USC, Houston, Texas, Duke, and UConn as schools he wants to visit.

“I have to talk to my dad still and figure it out,” he said.
After taking official visits, Burries will look to commit before the new year. The decision will come down to several factors.
“I know I want to commit by January, maybe. We’re going to start visiting schools this fall, a lot of them,” he said. “[I’m looking for] a great relationship with the head coach, a great program, a play style that fits me, and a coach that’s going to be honest with me.”
Hart has been telling Burries and his father that he likes his game. Burries wants to be a part of an NBA style of play.
“Spread out, play fast, a lot of pick-and-rolls, and getting off on the rebound,” he said.
