Breaking down Kentucky football's recent scholarship offers

Since Saturday, at least 10 talented high school recruits from those two states announced a public offer from the Wildcats. We’re here to break them all down one by one to see which prospects have drawn the eye of Kentucky coaches.

Class of 2024 offers
Kal-El Pascal (CB) 6-0, 185 | Dr. Michael M. Krop (Miami, FL) –> KSR+ interview
- The lone class of 2024 offer sent out so far this week went to Kal-El Pascal, who told Jacob Polacheck of KSR+ that he was “surprised” when Kentucky offered him on Monday. Pascal hopes to visit Lexington sometime this summer for a camp so he can learn more about what the Wildcats have to offer. He’s hearing mostly from ACC schools such as Miami, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, and Pittsburgh. UK was his first offer from an SEC program. Pascal has yet to set any official visits just yet but is in the process of getting those in order.
Class of 2025 offers
Tony Williams (S) 6-2, 185 | Palm Beach Central (Palm Beach, FL)
4-star: No. 132 overall, No. 8 S
- Already considered a four-star prospect and a Top 150 rising junior in the country, Tony Williams received his Kentucky offer on Tuesday. The likes of Penn State, Pittsburgh, Miami (FL), and Rutgers have also offered him, along with several non-Power 5 schools. The Florida native also runs track for Palm Beach Central. Williams played both sides of the football as a sophomore in 2022.
Tae’shaun Gelsey (WR) 6-4, 210 | Jean Ribault (Jacksonville, FL)
- Sticking in the Sunshine State, wide receiver Tae’shaun Gelsey earned an offer from Kentucky defensive backs coach Chris Collins on Saturday, joining Western Kentucky and South Florida as other programs to extend a scholarship this month. Florida A&M has also offered Gelsey, who doubles as a basketball player for Jean Ribault High School.
AJ Holloway (ATH) 6-3, 225 | Buford (Buford, GA)
- On Monday, Kentucky became the first Division I school to offer AJ Holloway. He’s one of the many Buford (GA) High School prospects that heard from the Wildcats this week. While Holloway isn’t as recognized as some of his teammates, he’s still in the very early stages of his recruitment. He visited Georgia and Auburn unofficially back in the fall. Holloway is also a talented baseball player.
Cannon Pigg (TE) 6-4, 245 | Mars Hill Bible School (Florence, AL)
- You won’t find a better football name out there than Cannon Pigg, who received his offer from Kentucky assistants Vince Marrow (TE) and Zach Yenser (OL) on Monday. North Alabama is the only other D1 school to offer Pigg, but he holds an interesting connection to the Wildcats. His former teammate at Mars Hill Bible School (AL), Koby Keenum, is an incoming three-star freshman offensive lineman for Kentucky’s Big Blue Wall.
Kenyon Rivera (LB) 6-2, 200 | Buford (Buford, GA)
- Another Buford High School prospect, Kenyon Rivera earned his UK offer from Coach Collins on Monday as well, not long after Miami (FL) reached out with a scholarship of its own. Rivera, who doubles as a basketball player, has also picked up offers from the likes of Michigan State, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Indiana, Wake Forest, and Missouri — all coming during the month of May. He’s currently unranked, but that could change in the near future as his recruitment is gaining some serious momentum.
Class of 2026 offers
Bryce Perry-Wright (DL) 6-3, 240 | Buford (Buford, GA)
- Moving on to the class of 2026 (but sticking with Buford High School), a Kentucky offer for Bryce Perry-Wright came in on Monday, once again from Coach Collins. Perry-Wright projects to be a big-name recruit moving forward, as he already holds scholarships from the likes of Penn State, Southern California, Tennessee, South Carolina, Auburn, Ohio State, Florida, Arkansas, and many, many more. He visited several of these schools during the spring. UK is just the latest to make a move on the talented defensive lineman.
Katrell Webb (OT) 6-3, 235 | Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA)
- Katrell Webb earned his 10th Divison I offer on Monday from Kentucky, tagging Coach Collins and defensive coordinator Brad White in his tweet announcing the scholarship. Much like Perry-Wright, Webb is going to be highly sought-after throughout his recruitment. Pittsburgh, South Carolina, and Missouri have also offered this month, joining a list that already included Michigan, LSU, Louisville, and Ole Miss. Additionally, Webb has taken unofficial visits to Georgia, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Florida, and Arkansas.
Daverin “Duece” Geralds II (DL) 6-2, 250 | Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA)
- Teammates at Collins Hill (GA) High School with Webb, Daverin “Duece” Geralds II announced his Kentucky offer at the same time as Webb on Monday, tagging the same two Wildcat coaches in his tweet. He and Webb have been raking in the offers as of late, with Auburn, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Penn State, and Missouri offering Geralds this month. Ohio State, LSU, and Florida have also extended scholarships.
Allex Hill (WR) 6-5, 190 | Austintown Fitch (Youngstown, OH)
- If the high school of Austintown Fitch sounds familiar, that would be because it’s home to four-star class of 2024 Kentucky EDGE target Brian Robinson, who is near the very top of the Wildcats’ Big Board. Robinson’s younger teammate, Allex Hill, could be the next big star to come out of the Youngstown-based program. Hill earned four offers on Tuesday from UK, Penn State, Michigan, and Temple.
