BREAKING: Keion Brooks Jr. commits to KENTUCKY

In an announcement made at St. Paul's Lutheran School in Fort Wayne, IN and live on CBS Sports HQ, Brooks committed to Kentucky over Indiana, North Carolina, and Michigan State. Brooks, a 6-foot-8 forward playing for La Lumiere in Indiana, is considered a consensus top-40 prospect in the nation, with his highest rating behind No. 13 overall (247). Brooks joins Kentucky signees Tyrese Maxey and Dontaie Allen, along with forward commit Kahlil Whitney, in UK's 2019 recruiting class. With the latest edition, UK's recruiting class moves up to No. 2 in 247 Sports' team rankings with an overall score of 68.76, putting them right behind Arizona (69.48) and in front of Villanova (68.34).
