Brian Kelly, LSU targeting Kentucky DC Brad White
Could Mark Stoops and the Kentucky football program lose yet another crucial piece of the defensive coaching staff? Just ten days after Jon Sumrall was named head coach at Troy, it appears Brad White could be on the move, as well.
According to FootballScoop’s Zach Barnett, Brian Kelly is targeting Kentucky’s defensive coordinator for the same position at LSU. A deal could come together quickly, as White is currently Baton Rouge discussing the potential move.

“Brian Kelly is targeting Kentucky defensive coordinator Brad White to fill the same role at LSU,” FootballScoop reported Monday. “Sources said White is in Baton Rouge and a deal could come together quickly if White believes he would be a fit on Kelly’s staff.”
White has been on Stoops’ staff for four seasons and has been the team’s defensive coordinator the last three. Kentucky has gone 32-17 in that span.
Prior to his time in Lexington, White was with the Indianapolis Colts for six years.
“This one is expected to play out soon,” FootballScoop reported.
