BTI's Rants and Ramblings: What Do You Love As Much as Roush Loves the Derby?

I gotta give it to my man Nick Roush.  When that guy falls in love with something, that love is deep.  On NFL Draft weekend, my timeline was peppered with draft recaps, analysis, celebrations, surprises, the usual.  And every other tweet was Nick Roush tweeting his love for the Kentucky Derby.  I counted.  Of Roush's last 35 tweets, 22 were about the Kentucky Derby. At the Oaks on Friday, his love for it was even captured by WLKY: https://youtu.be/4KSG2DcwfP4 Nick capped it off with this: https://twitter.com/RoushKSR/status/1388925089014550532?s=20 I mean, I can imagine.  I can imagine being able bet and collect my money in an instant on my phone, not having to find a window.  I imagine being able to get a beer in an instant, not standing in the line.  I experienced the nice weather.  I even got slightly dressed up without having to buy anything new to wear.  And I can imagine actually liking everyone in my vicinity who was drunk, not annoyed by them.  So yeah, I can imagine.  But Nick, clouded by love, can not.  And that's OK.  We all have our thing.  Personally, inject Masters week into my blood.  Many people think golf is boring.  Not this guy.  And certainly not at the Masters.  Give me one sporting thing I could do, it's play Augusta National.  (Note: If anybody has a connection, you can contact me at [email protected]) So mine is a golf tournament.  Nick's is a 2-minute horse race.  What is your sports THING you have an excessive love for that few can understand?  Is it an event?  A tournament?  A player?  Whatever it is, everybody has one.  What is yours?
