Bush Hamdan throws out first pitch at Kentucky Proud Park
Spring ball is over for Mark Stoops and the Kentucky football program, the final practice wrapping up for the Wildcats on Thursday. Now is the time to hit reset before getting back after it this summer and into the fall.
So with some free time on their hands, why not enjoy Kentucky Proud Park for a top-five rivalry matchup between No. 3 Kentucky and No. 4 Tennessee? UK offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan didn’t just show up for the game, he was the very first part of it.
The first-year play-caller threw out the first pitch ahead of the Cats’ matchup vs. the Vols — an absolute dart, right down the middle.

Kentucky is in a battle with Tennessee now, needing some magic to pull off the comeback. That’s exactly how things unfolded in the series-opener on Friday, why not make it happen again? The Bat Cats are giving it their best shot.
Until then, why don’t you have some Spring Game highlights rolling in the background while we root for the series win? Hamdan’s got some weapons at his disposal this fall, after all.
