Caleb Holt already took his official visit to Kentucky in September. Now, he’s gonna be back for a second time this fall.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound shooting guard from Prolific Prep (Huntsville, AL) will take an unofficial visit to Kentucky on October 11, per Joe Tipton of Rivals. Holt also canceled his upcoming visit to Auburn.

“The visit went well. Everything was great,” Holt’s father, Desman, told KSR+ after the Kentucky official visit in September. “It was a great atmosphere, great food, of course. We were really impressed with Coach [Mark] Pope and his staff. They seemed to have a wealth of knowledge and passion about the game.”

Holt is the No. 2 shooting guard and the No. 4 overall prospect in the 2026 Rivals Industry Ranking. Rivals ranks Holt as the No. 1 shooting guard and No. 4 overall player in the class.

Where Has Caleb Holt Visited So Far?

Caleb Holt has already taken several visits this fall. In addition to Kentucky, Holt has taken official visits to Arkansas, Kentucky, Alabama, Providence, and Arizona.

Holt also took an official visit to Ole Miss last spring. He hasn’t announced any other upcoming visits.

“I want them to actually need me. So I want to go somewhere I’m needed,” Holt told Rivals when asked about what he’s looking for in a school. “If I feel like, you know, they recruit other five stars, which is cool to play with some of those guys. But I want to have somewhere I can get loose and play my game without some other five-star wanting the same. So yeah, just the best fit. A coach that’s gonna let me defend and I wanted to defend. A coach is gonna let me play my offensive game. Of course, make the right plays and everything. I’m always gonna make the right play, but a coach who believes in me to do the stuff I can showcase.”

Who Else is Visiting for Big Blue Madness?

Caleb Holt isn’t the only top recruit set to be in attendance for Big Blue Madness. Kentucky is hosting 2026 prospects Ethan Taylor, Josh Irving, and Jordan Smith Jr. for official visits from Oct. 10-12.

Other players expected to visit unofficially include 2028 four-star forward Boogie Cook. Cook has recently started to hear from Kentucky.

“Growing up in Kentucky, I know a lot about it. They’re also talking about how they want to get me down for a visit or BBM,” Cook told KSR+ in September. “I love Kentucky. I’m a big Kentucky fan.”
