Cason Wallace Day is right around the corner. A five-star combo guard out of Richardson, TX, Wallace is set to make his college decision on his birthday, which is this Sunday, November 7. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound high school senior is down to Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas, and UTSA.
With just four days until he makes his announcement, there shouldn’t be too much drama coming down the final stretch. There are a combined 10 Crystal Ball and FutureCast selections in favor of Wallace landing with the ‘Cats. If he were to pick UK, John Calipari would boast a 2022 recruiting class that includes four five-star talents.
Wallace is ranked by On3 as the seventh-best player in his class and second-best combo guard.

After Kentucky missed out on five-star center Adem Bona earlier this week, adding Wallace would be a terrific bounce-back move for the coaching staff. He would join No. 1 overall prospect Shaedon Sharpe, No. 4 Chris Livingston, and No. 21 Skyy Clark for next season, all of which figure to play important roles in the backcourt.
If Kentucky were to bring Wallace into the fold, the ‘Cats would hold the top-ranked recruiting class in the country, slightly ahead of Duke and Arkansas. He’s arguably the top two-way player in all of high school basketball and expects to be a first-round NBA Draft pick.
Come on down, Cason.
