Cason Wallace returns from injury vs. Florida, will start

Cason Wallace‘s injury hiatus will be limited to just one game, as the five-star freshman is set to return to the floor after missing the team’s win at Ole Miss earlier in the week.
Head coach John Calipari confirmed Wallace would play vs. Florida during a pregame radio segment with Tom Leach. At the time, he wasn’t sure if the 6-foot-4 guard would start or come off the bench, hinting it could be Sahvir Wheeler getting things rolling for a second consecutive game.

He joined CJ Fredrick, Chris Livingston, Jacob Toppin and Oscar Tshiebwe in the first five, with Wheeler, Antonio Reeves, Lance Ware, Daimion Collins, Adou Thiero and Ugonna Onyenso available off the bench.
Wallace is currently averaging 11.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 30.9 minutes per contest for the Wildcats. Through 21 games, the standout freshman is shooting 46.6% from the field, 40.4% from three and 62.9% from the line.
