Open enrollment runs from October 16 to December 15. To choose Anthem Medicaid call 855-306-8959 or visit benefind.ky.gov.

The Coaching Carousel Continues to Turn

We still know nothing about Tennessee (Fulmer has kept things pretty quiet since he took over the search), but another big move was made yesterday.  Florida State has hired Willie Taggart.  Just a few years ago Taggart resurrected WKU's losing program, which he parlayed into gigs at USF, Oregon and now FSU.  Today Arkansas is expected to hire former Clemson offensive coordinator and current SMU head coach Chad Morris.  Tennessee is running out of options.

Benny Snell gets Snubbed by SEC Coaches

The AP was wise enough to select Snell as the SEC's first team running back, but the league's sports information directors were not.  The "Coaches Poll" placed Georgia's Nick Chubb ahead of Snell, the leading rusher in the SEC.  I know Georgia won the SEC, but come on, Benny is the best.  As Snell said, "Numbers don't lie, people do." Stay on the lookout for a few more All-SEC teams to be released by various outlets today.

Eric C. Conn is Back in the Bluegrass

The Eastern Kentucky attorney was on the run for months.  He tried to fight the law, but the law finally won.  Captured at a Pizza Hut in Honduras, last night he landed at Bluegrass Airport where he was handed over to FBI officials.

Devin Booker Limped Off the Court

Devin Booker's spectacular season suffered its first setback.  LeBron James is the only other player in the NBA with ten games over 30 points this season, but a bum groin will probably give others time to catch up.  The Suns officially announced the non-contact injury as a strained left adductor.  See how it happened: The NBA Cats can't catch a break.  Willie Cauley-Stein has a back injury, John Wall has a knee injury and Anthony Davis is banged up.

Was Mo Bamba in Space Jam?

The Texas center and former Kentucky recruit took a page out of MJ's book and stretched his arm almost entirely over the backboard in this jaw-dropping dunk against VCU, his head coach's old stomping grounds. He got how high? [caption id="" align="alignnone" width="1200"] @BleacherReport[/caption]

A Brand New KSR Podcast

The Kentucky Sports Radio Podcast lineup has a brand new addition.  We've given you multiple football podcasts; this one should tickle the fancy of our basketball fanatics. Aaron Torres' new podcast touches on a ton of topics, starting with the CFB Playoff and the college football coaching carousel, before turning to the young college basketball season with Evan Daniels.  The stories they share from recruiting trips cannot be heard anywhere else. http://kentuckysportsradio.com/main/the-aaron-torres-sports-podcast-e1-evan-daniels/ If you're waiting for more dulcet tones, the Football Podcast took a brief hiatus as Mr. Franklin travels across the country, but The Funkhouser Situation returns today and The Depth Chart Podcast will be back tomorrow.

KSR is Live in Our Nation's Capitol

Yesterday the gang found Mitch McConnell in the White House Press Briefing Room.  I bet they'll find him wandering the halls of the U.S. Capitol this morning too. [mobile_ad]
