With the NBA season coming to an end the playoff is coming into view. Unfortunately for our Cats in the NBA that means most of them will be on the outside looking in as they deal with injuries, rebuilding teams, and disappointing seasons. Patrick Patterson, Enes, and Nazr are the only players on a team that could make a playoff run. Which players are hot and which are not? Read on to find out, all averages are for the month of DeMarcus Cousins, Sacramento Kings—26.3 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.6 blocks per game in March. The Kings currently sit seven games out of the eighth spot in the West and appear destined to miss the playoffs for the tenth straight season. The future is murky for the franchise with no direction and no option at point guard if Rondo leaves. Hopefully, Jamal Murray won't get picked up be Sacramento Abyss... Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns— 22.1 points, 4.9 assists, 3.1 rebounds. Devin Booker's impressive 2016 continued with another explosive month. I'd imagine the Suns will look to build around Bledsoe and Booker heading into next season. Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves- 21.9 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks. KAT has been the crown jewel of a sensational rookie class that has a bright future in the NBA. Towns is one of an elite group of centers averaging a double-double and will be the franchise focal point for the future. John Wall, Washington Wizards- 20.4 points, 11.5 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 1.5 steals. The Wizards are one of the NBA's biggest disappointments this season and seem to be set for missing the playoffs. Will Durant join in the offseason? Will Wall pick up a new shoe contract? Questions abound in the capital. Brandon Knight, Phoenix Suns- 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists. The remaining NBA Cats averages are after the jump: Rajon Rondo, Sacramento Kings— 11.3 points, 10.5 assists, 1.8 steals. Julius Randle, LA Lakers- 13.8 points, 11.6 rebounds. Nerlens Noel, Philadelphia 76ers—  12.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.1 blocks. Enes Kanter, Oklahoma City Thunder— 14.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, Archie Goodwin, Phoenix Suns—  6.4 points, 2.9 rebounds. Patrick Patterson, Toronto Raptors— 9.5 points, 4.6 rebounds. Willie Cauley-Stein, Sacramento Kings— 6.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, .5 blocks Trey Lyles, Utah Jazz— 8.3 points, 2.1 rebounds. Tayshaun Prince, Minnesota Timberwolves— 1.7 points, 1.8 rebounds. Nazr Mohammed, Oklahoma City Thunder- 4 games played. James Young, Boston Celtics— 4 games logged in March, 3 points scored. Aaron Harrison, Charlotte Hornets- 4 games played in March.

Injury Report:

Anthony Davis, New Orleans— Shut down earlier this month to undergo shoulder surgery. Terrence Jones, Houston Rockets-  Missed all of March due to illness. Jodie Meeks, Detroit Pistons— Jodie has been cleared to return but it is unlikely that he will play this season as he is not in game shape. Eric Bledsoe, Phoenix SunsOut for the remainder of the season due to a knee injury. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Charlotte Hornets-As Drew wrote earlier, MKG’s season is over due to a second tear of his labrum. The injury allowed him to play in just 7 games this season and Charlotte is currently in a battle for a playoff position.
