Cats in the NFL Week 12 Preview

The NFL season continues as nine former Kentucky players are in action today with Za'Darius Smith playing in prime-time on Sunday Night Football.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-7) vs. Atlanta Falcons (3-7) (Mike Edwards)
An NFC-South match up between two teams that have been inconsistent throughout the year as the Falcons have surprisingly won two in a row.
Former Cat Mike Edwards has transitioned to a role as nickle corner, and the early returns are positive. He'll have a tough task today against the Falcons star studded receiving core.
They'll play at 1:00 PM on FOX.
Pittsburgh Steelers (5-5) vs. Cincinnati Bengals (0-10) (Bud Dupree, Benny Snell Jr.)
Following the drama of last week the Pittsburgh Steelers are likely ready to get back on the field, and conveniently the opponent is the win-less Bengals.
Bud Dupree should have a monster day against a Bengals offensive line that is one of the worst units in the league.
Benny Snell Jr. will return from a three-week absence to a big role as James Conner has been ruled out for Sunday's game. With the Bengals run defense lacking I would expect for Snell Jr. to receive a heavy workload.

New York Giants (2-8) vs. Chicago Bears (4-6) (Danny Trevathan)
After last Sunday's loss to the Rams the Bears playoff chances are slim to none at this point. To make matters worse they will be without middle linebacker Danny Trevathan as he recovers from an elbow injury.
Tune into FOX at 1:00 PM.
Carolina Panthers (5-5) vs. New Orleans Saints (8-2) (Larry Warford)
The New Orleans Saints are one of the NFL's best teams, and a big reason for that comes from a stout offensive line that is anchored by veteran Larry Warford.
The game will air on CBS at 1:00 PM.
Jacksonville Jaguars (4-6) vs. Tennessee Titans (5-5) (Wesley Woodyard, Josh Allen)
The Tennessee Titans are quietly still in contention for the playoffs as Ryan Tannehill has given the offense a much needed boost. The Wesley Woodyard-led Titans defense ranks fourth in the NFL, allowing just 16.8 points per game.
The last time Josh Allen faced the Titans he recorded two sacks, and a forced fumble. I expect to see more of that this afternoon as Allen pushes for the defensive rookie of the year award.
This game will air on CBS at 4:05 PM.
Dallas Cowboys vs. New England Patriots (Randall Cobb)
In what should be an exciting game for all NFL fans I expect Randall Cobb to play a big role as the Patriots will likely do everything they can to stop Amari Cooper.
Cobb has been putting up big numbers in recent weeks as the Cowboys offense has become more pass-heavy. Cobb has recorded 10 catches for 221 yards in the last two weeks.

Green Bay Packers (8-2) vs. San Francisco 49ers (9-1) (Za'Darius Smith)
Sunday Night Football should be spectacular as two of the NFC's top teams face off in prime-time. Za'Darius Smith is having quite a season, and I expect that to continue tonight as Big Z loves playing on a big stage.
Tune into the game at 8:25 PM on NBC.
