CBS analyst Clark Kellogg picks Kentucky to make Final Four
Not long after Kentucky’s path to a Final Four in the 2024 NCAA Tournament was revealed during Sunday’s Selection Show, CBS analyst Jay Wright expressed confidence in the Wildcats making it to the Sweet 16.
But he wasn’t alone. Wright’s colleague, Clark Kellogg, is even higher on Kentucky’s chances of making a long run in the Big Dance.
Once the full bracket was announced, the CBS crew broke down their Final Four picks. Only one of the panelists chose Kentucky. Kellogg has the 3-seeded Wildcats coming out of the South Region and taking on Purdue in the national semifinals. He also has UConn and North Carolina advancing to the Final Four.

During the broadcast, Kellogg said he didn’t need to see the rest of Kentucky’s region — he was going to slot the Wildcats into the Final Four regardless. And looking at UK’s path, there is certainly a good chance that will happen.
Kentucky will kick things off on Thursday in Pittsburgh against 13-seed Oakland. A win there would pit the ‘Cats against the winner of 6-seed Texas Tech and 11-seed NC State for a spot in the Sweet 16 in Dallas. The 2-seed in the South Region is Marquette while the 1-seed is Houston, so Kentucky would likely have to beat one or both of those schools before reaching its first Final Four since 2015.
But if Clark is a believer, then so are we.
