Kentucky is aggressively pursuing 2025 QB Chase Herbstreit
ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit was a recent guest at On3’s NIL Elite Series where he served as one of the guest speakers with some of the top class of 2024 football prospects in attendance. Herbstreit could have a son at the event next year.
Chase Herbstreit is a rising junior quarterback prospect at Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier. The youngest son of Kirk, Chase, became the starter for the Bombers mid-way through the 2022 season and will look to lead the historic program as a junior. The youngest Herbstreit is now starting to garner some recruiting attention.
On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons caught up with Chase Herbstreit on Monday to get an update on his recruitment. The unranked prospect in the class of 2025 has a busy June full of camp visits.
“I will be at Michigan on June 7, then at Ohio State on June 8,” Chase told On3. “After that, I will be at Penn State on June 11, Notre Dame on June 15, Georgia on June 20 and I think I will be at Alabama on June 21. It will be a busy month of June and I am excited about getting to learn how I can get better on and off the field.”
