The early signing period is right around the corner. Kentucky is looking to make a final push on some targets while attempting to keep committed targets in the class. One of the program’s top uncommitted targets came off the board on Sunday night.

Warren (Ohio) Harding EDGE Chaz Coleman committed to Penn State picking the Big Ten program over Kentucky and Michigan State.

Kentucky hosted Chaz Coleman for an official visit in October for the Auburn game and left that weekend in good position. But Penn State made a big push for the high three-star prospect and got Coleman on campus for the “White Out” game against Washington. That push ended with a commitment and head coach James Franklin sending out a celebratory social media post.

Kentucky’s high school class is ranked No. 21 nationally and currently has 21 commitments. A big month for the program is right around the corner.
