Chris Oats Surpasses Significant Rehab Milestone
Chris Oats took another significant step forward in his lengthy road to recovery.
Eight months ago the junior Kentucky linebacker was hospitalized for an undisclosed medical emergency. After spending months in the hospital and at a rehab facility, he was able to return to his family’s Cincinnati home in October. Kentucky’s coaches paid him a visit before he was able to return to Lexington for the Georgia game, his first trip to campus in months.
The rehabilitation process is grueling, yet Oats is persevering. His brother revealed that on Monday Oats was able to stand up for the first time since May.
