2026 No. 3-Ranked Prospect Christian Collins 'Probably' Won't Take Visits Until the Fall After Recent Kentucky Offer

Christian Collins has a case as the nation’s fastest-rising player. One year ago, he was just starting to emerge on the national radar. Now, he’s the nation’s No. 3-ranked prospect.
The 6-foot-8, 200-pound forward from St. John Bosco (Playa Del Rey, CA) hit another milestone in his rise late last month when he added an offer from Kentucky. He told KSR+ on Saturday that the offer was “a blessing.”
“It’s a blessing, coming from where I started, being on JV, and working my way up to being one of the best players in the country,” Collins said. “It’s really a blessing to receive an offer. Now, I’m going to college for free, playing the sport I love.”
Collins said he’s “probably” going to take visits during football season, following the AAU season. Nothing is expected soon.
“I’m not focused on any visits right now,” he said.
As for Kentucky, Collins holds the program in high regard. It’s been a full effort from the staff.
“It’s a great coaching staff. I love Coach Mark Pope,” Collins said. “Jason Hart is talking to me all the time. It’s been a great experience.”
When Could a Kentucky Visit Happen?
Christian Collins said he’ll likely take visits after the AAU season, but he also “doesn’t know for sure.” There’s no timeline for a commitment.

That doesn’t mean he doesn’t know what he’s looking for. He has solid criteria for what he wants in a school.
“A school where I can really develop and a place that feels like home, where I’m treated like family,” Collins said. “I want to be a one-and-done, but if that’s not the case, I can be a two-and-done, three-and-done, or whatever the case. I want to go somewhere I can really develop, that feels like home.”
After receiving offers from Duke, Kentucky, and others over the last few weeks, everything has felt like a whirlwind for Collins. He’s leaned on his mother to navigate through it all.
“I’m just really focusing on it with my mom,” Collins said. “There’s not really too much pressure on me, and I’m not really stressing about it. I’m just focused on getting better. If the offers come, then they come. I’m just focused on getting better this summer and not looking at it until the fall.”
