As Matt mentioned in his post on Sunday,
Chuck Hayes has not only secured a roster spot with the Houston Rockets, he's scrapped and clawed his way into a starting role. However, the Rockets will be without the assured intangibles of the former UK forward for
up to 2 weeks, the team announced today. Hayes suffered a bruised and hyperextended knee after collinding with Shaq Diesel last night. This is actually a relief, as anyone who saw the play know it would've been a much more devastating injury to a mere mortal of a man. Here's to a speedy recovery for Hayes, and less of Shane Battier's scrotile dome.
