Class of 2023 Ohio TE Tanner Lemaster down to Kentucky, Cincinnati
On Saturday night, just minutes before kickoff between Tennessee and Kentucky, Tanner Lemaster sent out a tweet alongside Kiyaunta Goodwin asking “is this home?” Lemaster was posing for a picture on the turf at Kroger Field alongside Goodwin during their visit.
A little over 24 hours later, that answer is down to just two options. Lemaster, a class of 2023 tight end from Washington Court House, OH, announced on Sunday night that he’s down to Kentucky and Cincinnati. In his tweet, Lemaster said that a decision will be coming soon. UK associate head coach Vince Marrow is his primary recruiter.
The 6-foot-6, 240-pound pass-catcher could be the third pickup from the class of 2023 for UK if he eventually picks the ‘Cats. He would join three-stars Ty Bryant and Kaden Moorman. Lemaster is considered a three-star prospect as well, according to 247Sports.

Lemaster was down to a final four of Kentucky, Cincinnati, Tennessee, and Indiana before ultimately cutting down to two. Back in June, Lemaster took an unofficial visit to check out Lexington, while also taking trips to see the campuses of Ohio State, Notre Dame, Marshall, Cincinnati, and Indiana over the summer.
Securing a commitment from Lemaster would quite literally be a huge addition. He’s one of the few high schoolers that make Goodwin (Kentucky’s five-star OL commit) actually look like a normal-sized person. The Washington High School product is one of the top-rated tight ends in his class for a reason.
Come on down, Tanner!
