Class of 2025 recruits Blake Bryce, Robert Lee preview Kentucky visits
Kentucky football is winding down spring practice with one more important weekend of recruiting. Another large gathering of high school recruits will make their way to Lexington over the next few days. We’ll have more on that group as a whole coming to the site on Friday, but a pair of those expected visitors were kind enough to talk with KSR ahead of their trips to preview what’s to come.
Class of 2025 prospects Blake Bryce and Robert Lee will make it to campus for unofficial visits on Saturday. Bryce is a 6-5, 220-pound tight end out of Newbury Park (CA) and Lee is a 6-0, 200-pound linebacker out of Osceola (FL). For both recruits, this will be their first time on UK’s campus.
We’ll start with Bryce, who is coming over from the West Coast for a trio of visits this weekend. He’ll arrive in the Bluegrass State on Thursday where he’ll begin his tour at the University of Louisville — the very first Divison I school to offer him. He’ll spend Friday morning with the Cardinals before heading down to Lexington in the afternoon for his first taste of what the Wildcats have to offer. He’ll finish up his trip with a visit to Cincinnati later in the weekend.
“We’ll be there up (at Kentucky) later (Saturday) afternoon,” Blake told KSR earlier this week. “One of my friends (’25 QB Tagg Harrison), he’s actually been talking to one of their coaches too, he actually set me up with them. I’ve been talking to them pretty heavily and that’s been awesome. I’m actually really stoked to be there because I’ve never been up there. I don’t know anything about it.”
Blake has been talking primarily with head coach Mark Stoops throughout the early stages of his communication with Kentucky. Being from the other side of the country, Blake isn’t all that familiar with any of the three schools he’ll visit this weekend, but he’s eager to see what’s in store, especially when it comes to the ‘Cats.
Currently, Blake does not hold a scholarship from Kentucky. His four offers so far have come from Louisville, Nevada, Colorado State, and BYU. It’s the Cougars that appear to have the upper hand, considering Blake’s father played tight end at BYU. Blake has grown up watching BYU football and has already taken two visits to campus, the most recent coming last weekend. He gets a “home” feeling from the Cougars’ staff.

As a side note, Blake’s aforementioned friend, Tagg Harrison, is accompanying him on these visits. Harrison is a class of 2025 quarterback also out of California who holds offers from Arizona, Ole Miss, and Louisville. The Westlake High School product has been in recent contact with the Kentucky staff.
Recruitment picking up for Robert Lee
Unlike Blake, Robert Lee already holds an offer from Kentucky. In fact, it was his first from a Divison I program, which he earned back in February. Since then, Lee has seen an uptick in his popularity, with the likes of Central Florida and Florida International extending offers of their own. The Miami Hurricanes have begun to express more interest, as well.
“A lot has picked up ever since Kentucky offered since it was my first offer,” Lee told KSR earlier this week. “It’s a blessing to see my recruitment pick up like this at such a fast pace. I’m just happy that Kentucky was the first one.”
Contact between Lee and UK has grown exponentially since the offer. He talks primarily with defensive backs coach Chris Collins, who already has a great relationship with Lee’s head coach at Osceola, a program that Kentucky has spent plenty of time recruiting out of in recent years.
