Coach Cal and Arkansas got sent home from the SEC Tournament on a game-winner

WHAT A FINISH IN NASHVILLE.
Leading by as many as 15 points, Ole Miss choked away the game to give Arkansas an eight-point lead in the second half with all of the momentum going the Razorbacks’ way. Then came the flip back, the Rebels storming back to go up by six with four minutes to go, followed by a comeback by Coach Cal’s bunch to take a three-point lead with 29 seconds to go.
The end? Mass chaos. Ole Miss’ Dre Davis converted on an and-one to tie it up with 20 seconds on the clock, followed by two missed free throws by Arkansas’ Trevon Brazile with seven seconds left.
Off the rebound, Davis found star guard Sean Pedulla for the biggest shot of his life — a game-winning 3-pointer to send the Razorbacks home.
It’s a moment you have to see for yourself.
WILD ending between Arkansas and Ole Miss.

As a friendly reminder, Coach Cal defended his controversial SEC Tournament take following his team’s win over South Carolina in the opener on Wednesday.
To summarize, he likes winning games in Nashville — but they’re not make-or-break for his teams, the same approach he had at Kentucky.

“If you don’t care, the kids don’t care, no one cares. Then I’m a magician,” Calipari said. “How about maybe you’re taking the pressure off the kids? This is just another thing for us to get better and improve ourselves. Then along the way, you know what, you’re reaching for stars, you grab a moon, all of a sudden you’re standing there with the trophy.
“… We want to win every game we play. But I don’t need the kids, ‘Got to do this.’ You don’t. You don’t. There’s the next tournament. Then you win it anyway.”
Update: the Razorbacks did not win it anyway.
THIS IS MARCH.
