Coach K scolded Oregon's Dillon Brooks about poor sportsmanship, is a hypocrite
In the handshake line after the game, TV cameras caught Coach K whispering something into Brooks' ear, but it's hard to tell exactly what: https://vine.co/v/ipTmtD01ur2 In the postgame press conference, Brooks told Pete Thamel that Coach K told him he was "too good of a player to be showing off at the end," to which Brooks agreed. Sort of. "He's right. I have to respect Duke and got to respect them. I have to learn more from those things. At the same time, that's my fire, that's my passion. I'm going to take in what he said and keep doing me." Coach K denied he said those things, cutting off a reporter in the postgame press conference when asked. Not to be outdone, Oregon's Dillon Brooks also puts the final touch on his team's win #MarchMadness https://t.co/6cWGpStwcf

Q. Apparently after the game Dillon said that you told him that he was too good of a player to be showing off at the end like that -- MIKE KRZYZEWSKI: I didn't say that. Q. He said of you that you were right. MIKE KRZYZEWSKI: You can say whatever you want. Dillon Brooks is a hell of a player. I said, "You're a terrific player." And you can take whatever he said and then go with it, all right?Meanwhile, Grayson Allen, who never faced punishment from Coach K for repeatedly tripping players from opposing teams, walked away from a hug from Brooks as he left the court: https://vine.co/v/ipTKmugixlU So, Brooks should have taken the shot clock violation to spare Duke's feelings? Come on. Also, I'm no lip reader, but that exchange between Coach K and Brooks seems to go down how Brooks describes it. So not only is Coach K kind of a punk for scolding a kid, he's also a liar. Stay classy, Duke.
