College GameDay, SEC Nation picks Kentucky vs. Missouri

A week ago each preeminent pregame show picked Georgia to take down the Kentucky Wildcats. They were proven correct. Hopefully that College GameDay and SEC Nation trend continues in week seven.
Three out of five experts on the College GameDay set predict a Kentucky win over Missouri. Former Michigan Wolverine Desmond Howard is not one of them.
“After that Georgia game, they’re pretty beat up so I’m going Missouri. Loved the way Missouri battle with LSU too,” said the 1991 Heisman Trophy winner.
The punter, Pat McAfee, disagrees.
“I think Kentucky bounces back. I think that last week was kind of — ehh, it’s Georgia. They’re the back-to-back National Champions. That’s going to happen. I like Kentucky with the bounce back.”
Kirk Herbstreit has seen a similar story play out before. He believes Mark Stoops will rally his troops in front of the home crowd Saturday night at Kroger Field.

“Both these teams lost last week. This is kind of a fork in the road game for both of these teams,” said Herbstreit. “I think the defense with Mark Stoops (is enough). Devin Leary is struggling. He needs to add a little bit more balance to their attack.”
Over on SEC Nation, live from outside of Knoxville’s Neyland Stadium, the SEC Network crew does not believe in Eli Drinkwitz’s squad. Playing in their first big-time road atmosphere of the season, everyone on the set (aside from Jordan Rodgers, who’s calling the game tonight) picked Missouri to slip up at Kroger Field. If their predictions are correct, Kentucky will improve to 8-1 in this series over the last nine years.
