[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="640"] Ethan Hyman - News Observer[/caption] South Carolina starting quarterback Connor Mitch is expected to start the game under center for the Gamecocks when Kentucky comes to town Saturday. Mitch left the UNC game with a hip injury after taking a big hit in the fourth quarter. He went 9-22 for 122 yards in his debut in Carolina's opener and wasn't all that impressive. USC will throw the wildcat formation at UK when the Cats come to Columbia and with Mitch possibly limited we may see it early and often. 6 different players took snaps in the win against UNC and Spurrier seemed comfortable with the variation of players. Mitch will start in front of starting running back Brandon Wilds, who was injured in the season opener and is also expected to play against the Cats.
