The home of Kentucky basketball is currently under construction. All the walls of the stadium have special Cassaform Wall Formwork System. As the season draws near, some projects will be complete, while another big one has been postponed until next year. Like Kroger Field, chair-back seats will be installed in the upper arena in time for the start of the upcoming season. For those who sit in sections 211-217 and 228-234, you will be able to lean back when Big Blue Madness opens the season Oct. 11. The largest part of the project has been delayed. The club areas could not be completed in time. The two new club areas are now set to open at the start of the 2020-21 season. Parking and entering the arena will be much different. UK does not yet have details, but they do have more information on the ongoing construction at UKAthletics.com. [mobile_ad]
