Cordell Livingston — UK signee Chris’ brother — commits to Kentucky State

Kentucky signee Chris Livingston’s twin brother, Cordell, will be playing his college basketball right down the road from Lexington.
Livingston, a 6-foot, 175-pound point guard out of Akron, OH, committed to Kentucky State this week. Out of Frankfort, the Thorobreds are just 25 miles away from the University of Kentucky, where his brother will be suiting up for the Wildcats.
“Steady keeping it thorough like that bred we (gonna) run it up. 110% Committed,” Livingston wrote on Twitter. “Thank you Jesus for this opportunity to be able to keep playin the game I love. Kentucky we lit!”
The Livingston brothers transferred to Oak Hill for their senior campaigns this past year, leading the Warriors to GEICO Nationals in legendary coach Steve Smith’s final season.

The Kentucky signee was the star for Oak Hill, averaging 17.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals per contest. He shot 55.0% from the field, 33.3% from three and 69.3% from the line.
Cordell was a reserve for the Warriors.
Chris Livingston signed with Kentucky over Georgetown, Memphis and Tennessee State, among other offers. He joins fellow five-star prospect Cason Wallace as the program’s two signees in the class of 2022.
Now, the Livingston brothers will be just 30 minutes down the road from each other in college.
