What a Saturday night at Kroger Field! Some might say the win against Tennessee wasn't pretty. Sure the four turnovers weren't great but this team showed some incredible heart and fought through adversity to win the game. The 'Cats are now 6-2 and already bowl eligible in October. That's pretty. Let's look back at some great game photos courtesy of KSR's photographer, Dr. Michael Huang. Saturday was also a special night as UK honored Coach Rich Brooks and his bowl championship teams. To begin, the Cat Walk was a special sight as Coach Brooks and his wife walked alongside Coach Stoops. At halftime, the teams were honored. Guys like Wesley Woodyard, Randall Cobb, Keenan Burton, Corey Peters, and Dicky Lyons, Jr. were a few of the over 100 former players in attendance for the game. It was special to see the love they all still have for their coach. Benny Snell bounced back in a major way. The UK offensive line played their best game of the season which was instrumental in Snell rushing for 180-yards, three touchdowns, and of course the important 2-point conversion catch. Linebacker Jordan Jones showed some rust last weekend in his first game since being out with a shoulder injury. However, he made his presence felt in a major way against the Vols. Jones had 13 tackles, 1 QB sack, and 2 tackles for loss. Also, impressive to point out that seven other Wildcats accounted for a sack. The man above is special as a leader and as a football player. Despite leaving the game at one point with an injury, Stephen Johnson returned to lead UK on a game winning drive. He made an acrobatic leap into the end zone with 33 seconds remaining. This guy is a winner and the amount of heart he displays on every possession spreads to the rest of his teammates. This Kentucky team is now 6-2 on the season with plenty of opportunities ahead. The player in the photo above is a big reason for that. You can check out KSR's complete game photo gallery on our Facebook page: [mobile_ad]
