Cristian Conyer has pair of June official visits scheduled
The secondary is quickly emerging as one of the biggest positions of need for Kentucky in the 2023 recruiting haul. Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren defensive back Cristian Conyer is at the top of the board.
The three-star prospect’s recruitment has turned into a two-school race with Kentucky and Tennessee fighting it out for Conyer’s services. A decision is coming soon, and the talented player has scheduled summer official visits with the Wildcats (June 17) and Vols (June 24).
Cristian Conyer spoke with Cats Illustrated’s Justin Rowland and confirmed that those two visits will be the only ones the prospect will be using this summer.
“I will only be visiting two schools in June and that’s Kentucky and Tennessee for my official visits,” Conyer told Cats Illustrated on Memorial Day. “I’m also planning on being on campus (at Kentucky) this coming weekend before my official visit. I will not camp this year.”

The 6-foot-1 cornerback was on Rocky Top during Memorial Day weekend for an unofficial visit as Josh Heupel’s program hosted multiple prospects for a huge unofficial visit recruiting weekend. However, Kentucky is moving quickly and is getting Conyer back on campus just one week later.
Cristian Conyer is the No. 567 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. The defensive back is a top-five player in the Bluegrass State.
Kentucky and Tennessee have a rivalry that is heating up in the SEC East. The recruitment of Cristian Conyer is a big one for both sides as each program continues to chase after the juggernaut that Kirby Smart has assembled at Georgia.
