Dan Mullen doesn't know Wan'Dale Robinson's name
Saturday’s game vs. Florida is already a big one, and Dan Mullen just poured gasoline on Kentucky’s fire. During his press conference this afternoon, Mullen was asked about Wan’Dale Robinson, Kentucky’s star wide receiver. Even though Robinson leads the SEC in receiving yards (402), Mullen didn’t know his name.
“Which one? What number?” Mullen asked the reporter. “I know numbers, you know what I’m saying?”
To be fair, Mullen did refer to a few transfers that have made immediate impacts on Kentucky’s offense, “a receiver, a quarterback.” Once he knew his number, he paid Robinson a compliment.

“The guys that come in within the play-action parts of the game and come in and create the explosive plays down the field,” Mullen added. “He’s done a great job of making explosive plays down the field.”
Still. Wouldn’t it be a shame if Robinson — and the rest of the team — saw this clip? Judging by Vince Marrow’s reaction, it’s already making its way through the locker room.
Is it Saturday yet??
