Dane Key has found a new college football home. The Lexington (Ky.) Frederick Douglass product will spend his final year of eligibility in the Big Ten.

On Wednesday, Key announced he is transferring to Nebraska for his final year of eligibility.

Ole Miss and Georgia aggressively pursued the talented wide receiver. Dane Key took an official visit to Lincoln over the weekend and the Huskers wrapped up the commitment when many believed Georgia was the heavy favorite. During that time, there were also some online rumors that he may return to Kentucky, but those were nothing more than rumors.
