Will Levis was the first college athlete to partner with a thoroughbred stallion on a NIL deal back in April. Now, one of his teammates is following suit. Kentucky freshman wide receiver Dane Key just shared his commercial for WinStar Farms stallion Nashville. The 30-second spot features Key and Nashville showing off their speed with the tagline “Speed is Key.”

Kentucky Basketball star Oscar Tshiebwe also partners with WinStar Farms to promote their racehorse Life Is Good. Clearly, the famous breeding and racing farm near Versailles is all in on Kentucky Football and Basketball this year.

Dane Key’s On3 NIL Valuation

Key currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $188,000, which ranks 252nd among college football players. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.

Key is off to a fast start to his Kentucky Football career. Through two games, the former Frederick Douglass star has seven catches for 136 yards and two touchdowns. His 55-yard touchdown catch at Florida was the longest of his young career and put the Cats up 7-3 in the second quarter. On Monday, he was named SEC Freshman of the Week for his performance vs. the Gators.

Go Cats. Go Dane. Go Nashville.
