Kentucky’s talented veteran right tackle has been commended following the Wildcats’ big win over Vanderbilt. The league office announced Monday morning that Darian Kinnard has been named co-SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week.

Kinnard played every single snap in the 34-17 victory over Vanderbilt. He graded at 88 percent, recorded four knockdown blocks and 16 blocks at the point of attack. Kinnard did not have any missed assignments or penalties and did not allow any quarterback sacks or pressures.

A senior from Knoxville, Tn., this is the first time he’s received SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors in 2021. That doesn’t mean he has gone unnoticed. He earned Midseason All-American honors from CBS and On3 Sports. Kinnard will be one of 22 seniors walking in Saturday’s ceremony before the Cats kick off at Kroger Field against New Mexico State at Noon.
