One of the greatest tragedies in the history of the Kentucky football program has been profiled by NBC's Dateline.
Caught up in the March Madness mayhem, last month Dateline produced "The Motive." The program detailed the 1994 murder of Kentucky football player Trent DiGiuro.
DiGiuro was killed on the front porch of his house near UK's campus after celebrating his 21st birthday. Antonio O'Ferral, the Cats' quarterback and DiGiuro's roommate, shared his experience from the night of the crime with Dateline.
"You started to hear the chaos outside," he recalled later. "The screaming, the yelling, the crying."
