An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, minimum salary NBA contract that provides flexibility for the team signing the player. Teams can convert a player’s one-year, minimum contract into a two-way contract before the start of the season. With an Exhibit 10 attachment, players can earn a bonus up to $50,000 in the event they are waived by the team and sign with its G League affiliate for 60 days.
His final season at Kentucky, Mintz averaged 8.5 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game in a sixth-man role, taking the floor in 31 games to go with six starts. The 1,000-point scorer ranked second on the team with 44 3-pointers and tallied 14 double-figure scoring efforts. The 6-foot-3 guard also had seven games with three or more 3-pointers and averaged 9.9 points per game during regular-season SEC action.
Now, Mintz is taking his talents to the NBA.
