WATCH: Davion Mintz on his bond with his dog, Ghost
By now, you probably know about Davion Mintz‘s dog Ghost. The French Bulldog has been by Mintz’s side through some big ups and downs during his time as a Kentucky Wildcat and now lives with him at the lodge as a registered support animal. Ghost even has his own NIL deal with Richmond Road Vet Clinic, the first-ever player-pup collaboration in college hoops.
Today, WHAS11 in Louisville shined another light on the BBN’s No. 1 dog. Watch below as Mintz shares their story and plays with his best buddy outside the lodge. Spoiler! At the end, we find out Ghost is about to be a dad. Good thing he inked that NIL deal, right?
There’s a whole lot to love about this story, but I’m not sure I’ve ever related to a Kentucky Basketball quote more than this one towards the end.
“I love my dog more than I love people sometimes.”
